All I will say, many people have no problem what’s so ever in killing spiders and roaches, dousing them in deadly chemicals or stepping on them or whatever. in the truest sense lobsters are only one rung above those same “pests” and technically speaking, only have a simple nervous system and no true brain, like all insects.
I must agree with Dan… If it was dead before I put it in the pot, no prob. But I couldn’t boil something alive… Sorry :)
Meanwhile in Soviet Russia……..

same, I mean I am no where near a vegetarian but the one thing I refuse to cook or even eat is lobster.

I’m not saying lobster isn’t delicious. But Boiling alive that sounds like it would suck.
So now human life is less important than a lobster? Absolutely ridiculous comparison!
Kym Custance Arn’t the eggs unfertilized? So its just an egg, no developing little chick, quite different right? Anyway I eat crabs occasionally (hardly lobster, but I do eat them) but I do feel slightly sad when my mom boils them, because they are alive.
