This is a bit backwards. Wouldn’t hers need to be “Wish I could have a conversation without having to have sex afterwards.”

Its what they are thinking, not what actually happens. you can read either one first,

I think women are notorious for wanting to have a heart-to-heart after, when men want to go to sleep.
