Awesome teacher or awesome troll? Either way, it’s a win.
there should be a comma after Philadelphia…
There shouldn’t. There’s a vocal comma due to the phrasing of the song, but the sentence is correct without it.
…playground is where I spent most of my days. Chillin’ out max and relaxin’ all cool and shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school. when a couple a guys, who were up to no good, startin’ makin trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, she said, “you’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air”. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said “Fresh” and it had dice on the mir(ror). If anything I could say this cab was rare, but I thought man forget it, yo home to Bel Air. I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, “yo homes, smell you later”. Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel Air.
Loved that show!!
awwww you beat me too it!
I begged and pleaded with her day after day But she packed my suite case and sent me on my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket. I put my walkman on and said, ‘I might as well kick it’.

But wait, I hear they prissy, bourgoise, all that Is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat? I don’t think so I’ll see when I get there I hope they’re prepared for the prince of Bel-Air
Well uh, the plane landed and when I came out There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out I ain’t trying to get arrested yet. I just got here! I sprang with the quickness, like lightening disappeared.
These verses go in between moving to Bel Air and Whistled for a cab.
+1 for noting the commonly left-out verses. A+ :)
I would have all the extra points lol.
on the playground is where I spent most of my days.
I once heard there was a letter written in to a televangelist of the lyrics to this song. He thought it was a true and touching story so read it on tv. Classic.
