Carl Boston I’ve heard this debate, by the way, Im over 50 and could care less who chooses to live their lifestyle. My rights end when they begin to interfere with yours. That is why we debate, more important, that is why I vote. I havent seen anywhere in the constitution…the right to keep gay people from enjoying the same rights, freedoms and access that I have. The smartest deciding factor for me in any situation..is to take the “title’ from in front of the issue. Ex: Gay person = person. Black man=man…see how that works? Also, womens rights = rights. Its one perspective. Thank you.

Oh, and just for the record…I don’t hate gays, not at all! I love them in fact. Just because I don’t agree with someone’s religious or moral viewpoint doesn’t mean I don’t love them. That would be ridiculous! You seem to equate disagreeing with someone with hating someone. Why is that? Is it possible that you were raised to believe that kind thinking? That’s a really sad place to be in life people. I mean really, come on, think it through a little bit for heaven’s sake. You’re the ones reflecting a deep hatred for people who don’t agree with your viewpoint. Very sad :(

While I don’t agree with Carl, I don’t think attacking a person’s physical appearance does anything for this argument. This is America. We are ALL free to THINK whatever we feel like, as long as people keep their hands (and weapons) to themselves. P.S. Calling someone a mongoloid is just as inappropriate as gay-bashing so if you really want to be a good-hearted, sensible person then please stick to the subject that’s on the table. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with either of you or Carl. well it’s really just baby boomers who still hate gays…below age 35 they have an overwhelming majority of people supporting their equality and rights…now we just have to wait for all those old bigots to die off so we can have a small bit of peace…and maybe the south will need to join one big radical evangelical cult…so many of them are already…then send them to Iraq and let them have a Koran burning…see what happens.

seth im from oklahoma have family and friends in arkansas,texas,louisianaand a lot of other states we all feel the same way but we also know that its going to get worse but in the end it’ll work out and dana trapping or hunting is a humane way to control the population if it is regulated right which it is
lol yes dana my first comment was mostly sarcasm,and i apologize for that, i really don’t believe all southerners and baby boomers are bigots and hate mongers, although carl here, and his friends(all from the south i notice) seem to bolster the common southern stereotype, lol oh, carl, the day you get your leg caught in a giant steal trap and have to chew your foot off to get back to taking care of your kids, then you can claim trapping is humane. none the less, hunting is fine, noble even at times, but you treat the animal with respect, you don’t identify yourself with the corpses of the many, many animals you killed for personal gratification(don’t give me that population crap, you would be killing them if they were overpopulated or not). those are warning signs man, you should seek counseling before you start murdering hobo’s in the night…

P.S. You know it seems to me animal have controlled their own population for millions of years. Certainly better than we have. The bottom line is this overpopulation crap is a fancy way of saying that they are in the way of people. We wouldn’t want them invading suburbia
seth on the gay issue i believei said many other states dosent just stay in the south and u would have to know me to judge if i dont respect animals or not and yes it is a population thing because if they over populate they can start killing them selves off by diseases, of enough food or famer and ranchers could get mad because of diseases or crop destruction and start killing of like the wolves up north. just like with hunting or fishing trapping is regulated. Yes in the past due to hungry families and no money some animals have been trapped to near extinction but some have been brought back sadly not all have though. Also i eat or use in some way
dana if you read the above post u will actually see my answer to what i do with animals i trap and yes i do eat deer as well as a lot of other things now there are some i havent tried yet due to no recipes as of yet skunk being one as for dogs and cats i do bilieve that for ones that are near death or beyond saving it would be better for them to be put down as a horse owner i have been following the slaughter house stuff going on and yes i believe that the same goes for them it hurts me to see an animal that is sick or suffering and you know it wont make it suffer and yes i have had to make that decesion in the past i didnt want to but they were better off not hurting
